D&O at SCD 2023
This summer we attended Super Car Driver - Secret Meet 2023 and took in the beauty of four wheel engineering than our usual two.
That though, didn’t stop us from sneaking in a couple of our machines though and the visitors definitely didn’t seem to mind is adding some more diversity to the vehicles on show. In fact they were welcomed, by none other than the Blackthorn Racing team and Aston Martin Racing who very kindly offered us a spot in their pit garage to which we graciously accepted!
SCD is and Annual event, hosted at Donington Circuit where Supercar enthusiasts, collectors, racers, brands, dealers and manufacturers in a private setting for a celebration of motoring like no other.
Rubbing Shoulders with this engineering and racing greats didn’t stop at just giving us a dry place to be though. The teams were super welcoming and even gave our man Dan a pit pass so he could really stretch the legs of his new camera.
Highlights for him included getting up close to James Hunt’s McLaren M26 multi Grand Prix winning car (beautifully clad up in Marlboro livery) and seeing the Aston Martin Valkyrie put some laps in.
